SEA LIONS

 

Sea lions, which belong to the Otariidae family, are marine mammals known for their agility both in water and on land. With streamlined bodies, external ear flaps, and strong flippers, sea lions inhabit coastal areas worldwide. Highly social, they communicate through vocalizations and form colonies for breeding and protection. As opportunistic feeders, sea lions play an important role in the marine ecosystem. While some populations are thriving, conservation efforts are crucial to protect sea lions from threats such as habitat loss and pollution.
